What is a skill?

How do skills differ from agent instructions?
Agent instructions define the agent's overall personality and scope. Skills are modular templates applied for specific subtasks. One agent can use multiple skills; one skill can be shared across agents.
How do I create a skill?
- Open Skills from the sidebar (or ⌘K → Create skill).
- Write the instruction template — be specific about inputs, outputs, and constraints.
- Attach the skill to agents or reference it in playbook steps.
When should I use a skill?
Use skills when you want repeatable AI behavior — the same quality and format every time a task runs. Especially useful for design partners automating domain-specific workflows.
