TL;DR: An evaluation agent scores how well a lead fits and picks an owner. A later step assigns the route. The evaluation agent does not write the CRM.
Who this is for
RevOps and sales teams that want a fit score and an owner before anyone is notified.
What you'll need
- Connectors: HubSpot or Salesforce, Slack.
- Agent: An evaluation agent with a fit score and an owner choice. See What is an evaluation agent?.
- Trigger: Webhook when a lead is created.

How to build it with Ask Ballet
- Open the Console on Home.
- Paste the prompt below and set your owner names.
- Review the proposed plan and confirm.
- Connect the CRM and Slack, then register the webhook.
Build a playbook that triggers when a new lead is created in HubSpot.
Create an evaluation agent. It does not write the CRM record.
Questions: fit as a score of poor, possible, or strong; owner as a choice of
enterprise, commercial, or nurture.
Pass the company, title, and notes. Do not send a prompt.
Read the fit score, the owner choice, and the confidence. Do not turn a low
confidence into nurture inside the classify step.
Then assign the route from the owner choice, create a follow-up task, and DM the owner in Slack.
What the playbook does
- Webhook trigger — receives the lead.
- Evaluation agent — returns the fit score and the owner.
- Assign — sets the route and creates the follow-up task.
- Notify — messages the owner in Slack.
Variations and tips
- Run lead enrichment first if the company and title are often blank.
- The CRM write belongs in the assign step, not in the evaluation agent.
